Coffee House comes first in our name. The machine is on from 7am every day at Oar, our cafe on the lake at West Lakes Shore: a flat white on the deck, or a takeaway from the bays out the front.

From the first flat white at seven to a long black before we close at three.
Lattes, cappuccinos and flat whites in small or large, long blacks, chai, hot chocolate, matcha and pots of tea. Take yours out to the deck and watch the rowers on the lake, or stay inside by the windows on a cold morning.

Iced lattes and long blacks for the warm days, an iced coffee with ice cream and whipped cream, and mocha and chai frappes.

Breakfast runs all day, from the OAR big breakie to chilli scrambled eggs on a croissant, so a coffee can easily turn into brunch on the lake.

What time is Oar open for coffee?
From 7am to 3pm, every day of the week.
Can I get a takeaway coffee?
Yes. There are 15-minute takeaway bays right out the front, in the car park of the Rowing SA complex.
What milks do you have?
Full cream, plus oat, almond, soy, coconut and lactose-free milk for $1. Decaf, an extra shot and vanilla, caramel or hazelnut syrup are $1 too.
Do you make iced coffee?
Yes: iced lattes, iced long blacks and iced chai, plus an iced coffee and an iced chocolate with ice cream and whipped cream, and frappes.
Do you serve tea?
Yes. Pots of English breakfast, Earl Grey, green tea and peppermint, as well as chai, hot chocolate and matcha.
